The Outlook Polycarbonate Flat Roof Automatic Smoke Vent (AOV)

In all buildings there is a need to remove smoke, quickly and effectively, in the case of a fire to allow occupants to escape and fire service safer access to the property.

The Outlook AOV features a double or triple skin of UV enhanced polycarbonate glazing in a dome which is long lasting and highly durable in either clear or obscure glazing.

The AOV comes complete with a 300mm high uPVC kerb. The AOV can be supplied with either a 90 or 140* degree opening with a 24v DC reverse polarity actuator & 2.5m of cable. The actuator can operate between –20 & +40 deg C to German Vd5 2580, for 2hours up to +110 deg C. The unit is designed to a MAX snow load of 300N/m² and will open to the 140 deg in under 60 seconds.

The 140 deg option meets EN12101-2 European Standard.

The unit will require commissioning to the property management system. A control panel incorporating battery back up, smoke detectors & fireman’s switches can also be supplied, if required.

The rooflights are supplied with installation details (commissioning by others) & external security fixings.
